Aim/Vision

The Scheme to establish Sainik Schools was introduced in 1961 with the primary aim of preparing boys & girls academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla.
The objectives of the scheme are:

1. To remove regional imbalance in the officers cader of the Defence Forces.
2. To develop qualities of body, mind and character which will enable the young boys & girls of today to become good and useful citizens of tomorrow.
3. To bring public school education within the reach of the common man.
4. To prepare those who fail to make the grade for the NDA for responsible positions in various other walks of life.
